Born in 1998, Joujouka is an ever-evolving new wave elec__tro band led by Numanoid a.k.a DJ Tsuyoshi, Funky Gong and the newest VJ addition Kazu.
Catapulting right into the worldwide arena that same year by releasing their debut album, Aoki URU, with their original members in London, they immediately started to tour major music centers including Tokyo, London, and Paris. They didn't waste any time before releasing Aoki Uruin Japan in December of the same year.
Appearances in major outdoor festivals such as Fuji Rock Festival and Oslo's Alavika Festival, and sharing stages with elec__tronic icons such as System 7 and X-Dream, followed.
They continue to surprise and excite fans around the world not limited to the elec__tronic scene but also in rock and various art scenes. In the last 4, 5 years, elec__tro in the dance music scene has got lots of elements of music in it. Kraftwerk elements, house elements, funk elements, punk elements, rock elements, and so on... which is very similar to new wave scene in the '80s time.

The much anticipated pioneering compilation from the cutting-edge techno/elec__tro label Madskippers from Tokyo Japan will make way to drop the ball on the end of October 2005.
Under the keen scrutiny of world-renowned DJ and producer Numanoid a.k.a. DJ Tsuyoshi, a perfect set of __tracks were selected from artists that are known worldwide in the elec__tronic scene and the rest that we'll soon to see explode from the label.
In a landscape filled with compilations in the widely expanding elec__tro scene, this jewel of a selection takes a stab at what will soon be considered to many as 'Alt.
